Puppies will have their first vaccinations, have been dewormed and are microchipped. We socialize the puppies and introduce them to a variety of sounds and stimuli. They are handled and weighed daily to make sure no one is being left behind. The puppies are also introduced to feathers at an early age.
We are planning two litters to be whelped in March or April 2025. They are as follows:
Krautkramer’s Annie Red (Annie) will be bred to our HRCH Krautkramer ‘s Ruger Red MH (Ruger). Annie is a very pretty girl. She is very intelligent and has put out some fantastic puppies. She has a great pedigree. Her puppies make very talented bird dogs and also great family companions. She has not been bred yet, but we expect her to have a litter ready to go home in May or June 2025.
Krautkramer Gold Star SH (Star) will be bred to our HRCH Krautkramer ‘s Ruger Red MH (Ruger). Star is a very good looking yellow labrador with a red tint and beautiful amber eyes. She LOVES attention and will sit and let me scratch her chin for an hour (if I wanted to do it that long). When bred to Ruger, Star has been putting out some very pretty red lab puppies. I’ve been hearing reports of her pups being great family dogs and excellent natural hunters. She also has not been bred yet, but we expect her to have a litter ready to go home in May or June 2025.
Then we have three more litters planned for Summer 2025. They are as follows:
Krautkramer Maggie Lou (Maggie) is such a sweet girl. She will be bred to our HRCH Krautkramer ‘s Ruger Red MH (Ruger). Maggie loves people and loves attention. Maggie is also very birdy for those people looking for a family pet/hunting dog. Her puppies have been very easy to train. We’ve gotten feedback and videos of her pups pointing. Maggie should be in heat in April so we would expect a due date for this litter in June 2025 which means puppies should be able to go home in August 2025.
HRCH Krautkramer Blaze Red MH (Blaze) will be bred to our HRCH Krautkramer ‘s Ruger Red MH (Ruger). Blaze is a very talented dog with a lot of drive, yet has a nice off switch. She is very birdy. This is a repeat breeding. We are expecting great things from this litter. Blaze should be in heat in April so we would expect a due date for this litter in June 2025 which means puppies should be able to go home in August 2025.
Krautkramer’s Black Ice’s Crimson Tide JH (Bama) – Bama is a beautiful dark red girl that is high energy, super-fast, and loves to please. She is a very American built Labrador. Bama should be in heat in April so we would expect a due date for this litter in June 2025 which means puppies should be able to go home in August or September 2025. We plan to breed Bama to our HRCH Krautkramer ‘s Ruger Red MH (Ruger).
We have some great young dogs that are currently with professional trainers working on getting titles and learning to be good hunting dogs. Some of these dogs will be coming home this summer and depending on when they come home and when they come in heat, there may be more fantastic litters coming in 2025.
